Quark-Express

Who still uses Quark-Express? I do. I use it in my job to layout the newspaper.
I wish we would update to InDesign to do the newspaper layout. Quark-Express is an easy program to work with, but its to plain. It also has problems viewing cutouts of pictures that are tiff format that come from photoshop, it shows a white back when its not suppose to. I learned how to take the white off by clipping and runaround, but it doesn't take it off completely. Is there a better or easier way to take off the white background of an image so it would have a transparent background in Quark-Express?

Today I saw something amazing. Who out there isn't a Simpsons Fan?
Well if your not, you should be. I received an email, from another Simpsons fan, It was an image of Homer Simpson. Who ever did this image, is a really good at computer graphics.
<--- Check it out.
Its amazing, it would be nice to do a classic cartoon character that many of us have into a real human character.
Question for the readers....
Would you want to see a episode of The Simpsons in human skin?
Im amazed at  the artist's technique of putting human skin of more than twenty people together. How he gave Homer shadow, I bet he used the burn tool in Photoshop.
